In the Revelation Prophecy, we learn that the Beast has ten horns, and among them comes up a little horn who is the Antichrist (Dan. 7:7-8). Daniel 7:24 states that “the ten horns are ten kings who shall arise from this kingdom: and another shall rise after them.” Revelation 13:1 depicts the horns as wearing crowns.
Daniel 8:23 states that the Tribulation begins when “the transgressors have reached their fullness.” Meaning society cannot get any more wicked. People degenerate to such a great degree that God inflicts his wrath and ushers in a new world ruled by Christ. 2 Timothy 3:1-6 warns that the times will be perilous due to society’s sin.
No book in the world is more frightening than the Revelation Prophecy. Its exact name is the Revelation of Jesus Christ. It is the last book of the Bible, and it is a book of events, which are yet to take place. What is foretold is so horrific I could not ever imagine living through it. Residing in these last days is difficult enough.
The Tribulation begins when the Antichrist negotiates a peace treaty with Israel, guaranteeing its security. Three and a half years after these negotiations, he stands in the Jewish Temple and declares himself a god. The Antichrist then lays siege to Jerusalem, and seeks to exterminate the Jews. Zechariah 13:8 tells us that two-thirds of the Jewish population dies due to his exploits.
Of the “latter day” nations mentioned in the Scriptures, America receives no direct citation, except possibly in two passages. For those who live during America’s present era of prosperity and strength, this fact is puzzling. Some experts solve this puzzle by teaching that America is Babylon, and Jeremiah foretells its destruction.
During the Tribulation, Satan attempts to establish his kingdom here on the earth. His mark, on each of his followers, bears his name. According to Rev. 13:16-18: “And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand, or on their forehead: And that no one may buy or sell, except one who has the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is 666″
He will emerge from obscurity, but by dint of his diplomatic skill he will win the admiration and compel the cooperation of the political world. In the early stages of his career he appears as “a little horn” (or power), but it is not long before he climbs the ladder of fame, and by means of brilliant statesmanship, ascends its topmost rung
